Database Administrator

1 position

qualification

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in computer science or any related field.
at least 1 year of experience in SQL programming/tuning.
Experience with at least one major relational database management system: MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle or SQL Server, etc.
Familiarity with database design, troubleshooting database issues, documentation and coding.
Familiarity and adaptability with Linux (Unix-Like) command-line environment
Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
The ability to work quickly, under pressure and to deadlines.
Team player and able to work independently.

responsibility

Work Closely with Frontend/Backend Development Team.
Administers database backup/restore, partitioning, indexing, sync/async replication, clustering.
Designs complex database structure handling the large workload of database transaction.
Understand the business requirements and design the optimized/tuned SQL.
Assist in performance tuning and make optimization suggestions to the team.
Code and script automating batch computing tasks.

Software Engineer

qualification

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in computer science or any related field.
Experience in Java programming.
Comprehensive skill in IPC and multi threaded application backend.
Background in Object Oriented Programming and Design Pattern.
Understanding in XML/JSON notation, TCP/UDP Networking, and Message Queue.
Familiarity and adaptability with Linux (Unix-Like) command-line environment.
Hands on experience at least in one major Java Application Server: Tomcat, Web Logic, WebSphere or JBoss, etc.
The ability to work quickly, under pressure and to deadlines.
Team player and able to work independently.

Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
Manage and maintain corporate software libraries.
